But when I finally surrendered, He gave me a new promise: At the time, it didn’t make sense. We were deep in debt, overwhelmed, and exhausted. But then He gave me a next step: And I chose to obey. I didn’t have all the answers, but I had His voice—and that was enough. I laid down my plans and picked up His, unsure where it would lead but trusting that He would guide every step.
